Function:

The uFldCollObDetect app runs on the shoreside and monitors vehicle positions in the context of known obstacle locations. It watches for encounters, near misses and collisions. It will publish user-specified flags on the events of collision, near- miss, and encounters. If the user does not specify flags, then no reports are generated. Each flag type supports a number of macros to allow the user to generate data of their liking.
