Function:
GobyMOOSApp module used in the LAMSS Virtual Ocean for simulating an ADCP sensor by extracting the horizontal and vertical current velocities at the sensor location from a 4D (time,Lat,Lon,Depth) NetCdf representation of the temporal and spatial distribution of the ocean currents. Supports NetCDF formats for most common modeling frameworks, including HYCOM/NCOM, MSEAS.
