Eric Gallimore, Toby Schneider, Michael Benjamin, Hanumant Singh, Isaac Vandor, Dennis Giaya

WHOI (Gallimore, Vandor), GobySoft (Schneider), MIT (Benjamin) Northeastern (Singh, Giaya)

Open Ocean Software is multi-institutional collaboration under the NSF Pathways to Enable Open-Source Ecosystems grant. We are focused on supporting mature and emerging open-source projects related to marine robotics.

MOOS-IvP is one of the founding member projects (along with WHOI-ROS, Goby, and DCCL). This talk with discuss our findings from last year's comprehensive interview process, and discuss our plans moving forward on technical services, governance, security, and sustainability. We are keen for the MOOS-DAWG community to critique our plans and suggest ideas we may not have considered.
