The moos-ivp Tree

The moos-ivp tree contains the core MOOS and IvP Helm architectures and several MOOS applications helm behaviors and utilities. Installing this tree means:

  • Download the moos-ivp software (http://moos-ivp.org/download.html).
  • Compile the software. Read the README files in the downloaded tree.
  • Add the executables to your shell path.


Confirming Installation (MOOS)

You should be able to do the following to confirm that MOOS has been built and is in your shell path: 

    $ which MOOSDB
    /home/you-the-user/moos-ivp/MOOS/MOOSBin


Confirming Installation (IvP)

You should be able to do the following to confirm that the IvP portion of the tree has been built and is in your shell path: 

    $ which pHelmIvP
    /home/you-the-user/moos-ivp/bin
